Ofsted last visited Meadowside in June 2025. Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Since the Ofsted Report, we have made several rapid improvements at Meadowside:

  • Strong and robust safeguarding recording of actions for safeguarding incidents.
  • A curriculum that is growing in strength
  • Building on our strong, inclusive culture
  • Results in Early Years are in line with National expectations.
  • Results in the Phonics Screening Check (Y1) and Multiplication Tables Check (Y4) are above National.
  • An excellent set of Key Stage 2 SATs results, with all data above National.
