Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere where our school values are:
Aspirational, Environmental, Independence, Opportunistic, Understanding.
The school begins a new chapter in September 2025 as I have been appointed the new Headteacher!
Meadowside is a special, environmentally friendly school where everyone is valued, and children are at the heart of everything we do.
We continue to build a caring, safe environment where children achieve strong social and academic outcomes. We foster a love of learning and are aspirational for all. This is a school where children learn to become independent, curious learners and seize opportunities presented to them. Children show an understanding of difference and celebrate diversity. Governors and staff work together to challenge and celebrate as we create a school that we are proud of.
I am looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead and this is an exciting time to be part of our school. The Meadowside Family is unique, and I am privileged to lead us into the next exciting chapter as we continue to make a difference for our future.

Good morning from the holidayers! It was a very early start today (it feels like it should be lunch time by now) but we are ready for a day on the water. All in good spirits and excited for more fun activities- we’ve even got a bit of blue sky!!!

What a fantastic time we are having in Devon! Low ropes, high ropes and archery this afternoon followed by some chill time where we had children choreographing dances, playing football or enjoying board games. Now we are sat around a campfire toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate. Smiley happy children and adults!

Year 6 have arrived! We are currently settling in to the bunkhouse before a site tour and lunch. We are very excited for the activities this afternoon!
