Welcome to Meadowside
Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere where our school values are:
Aspirational, Environmental, Independence, Opportunistic, Understanding.
The school begins a new chapter in September 2025 as I have been appointed the new Headteacher!
Meadowside is a special, environmentally friendly school where everyone is valued, and children are at the heart of everything we do.
We continue to build a caring, safe environment where children achieve strong social and academic outcomes. We foster a love of learning and are aspirational for all. This is a school where children learn to become independent, curious learners and seize opportunities presented to them. Children show an understanding of difference and celebrate diversity. Governors and staff work together to challenge and celebrate as we create a school that we are proud of.
I am looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead and this is an exciting time to be part of our school. The Meadowside Family is unique, and I am privileged to lead us into the next exciting chapter as we continue to make a difference for our future.
Mr Port,
Headteacher

It’s almost Spring and today the winners of the Winter Art Competition were announced by Mrs Davies in assembly. Congratulations to all the children who took part. You can see from the work below that everyone who entered really impressed!
All of the art from the GSP (Gloucester Schools Partnership) can be seen at St Mary de Crypt as part of a special exhibit (they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
Happy Half term and thank you for making it another memorable one! 💙💚
