Making a difference
for our future

Welcome to Meadowside

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere.

The school opened in September 2000 and we strive to develop a strong community ethos, reflecting on and refining our approach together.

Our school motto is: “Making a difference for our future”.

Through our curriculum design, our excellent pastoral care and our charity and community projects, we aim to give the children opportunities to flourish as ‘Meadowside Ambassadors‘!  We have high expectations of all and are proud of our inclusive and innovative ethos.

The Meadowside Family

We believe a positive and supportive partnership between home and school is essential to provide children with the confidence they need to grow.

Personally, I believe that what makes Meadowside special is its positive relationships, which are felt from the moment you step into our school.

Happy children and staff are the best ingredients for a successful learning environment.  Please come and visit us to discover more about the Meadowside school family.

Learning Partnerships

We belong to 2 learning partnerships, these enable us to interact and learn collaboratively with staff and children in a wide range of schools.

A group of 39 primary schools in Gloucester City committed to effective challenge and support in order to provide the highest quality provision to raise the attainment, aspirations and life chances of the pupils in the Partnership.

The Quedgeley Learning Community (QLC) was established in September 2011 to enable closer links to be forged across 9 local schools working to provide the best possible education for the children of south Gloucester.
