A typical day at our School

From September 2023, the school will be open for 32.5 hours, in line with new Department for Education guidelines. 

8.35 a.m. Children arrive by, foot, bike or scooter and gather on the playground.

8.45 a.m. Children walk in to class and get themselves organised for the day.

9 a.m. Learning begins!

10.10 a.m. Assembly (Monday, Wednesday and Friday only)

10.30 a.m. Break time. Healthy snacks and games from the shed make playtimes enjoyable for all.

10.50 a.m. Learning continues…

12 p.m. Key Stage 1 and Reception lunch begins.

12.30 p.m. Key Stage 2 lunch begins.

1 p.m. Learning continues for Key Stage 1 and Reception.

1.30 p.m. Learning continues for Key Stage 2.

2.30 p.m. Afternoon break (Key Stage 1 only).

3 p.m. Story Time.

3.15 p.m. End of school day.

See you tomorrow! Unless it’s the weekend!

During the school day, children will participate in an activity to raise their heart rate, for example, wake and shake, the Meadowside Mile or an active game.
