Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere where our school values are:
Aspirational, Environmental, Independence, Opportunistic, Understanding.
The school begins a new chapter in September 2025 as I have been appointed the new Headteacher!
Meadowside is a special, environmentally friendly school where everyone is valued, and children are at the heart of everything we do.
We continue to build a caring, safe environment where children achieve strong social and academic outcomes. We foster a love of learning and are aspirational for all. This is a school where children learn to become independent, curious learners and seize opportunities presented to them. Children show an understanding of difference and celebrate diversity. Governors and staff work together to challenge and celebrate as we create a school that we are proud of.
I am looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead and this is an exciting time to be part of our school. The Meadowside Family is unique, and I am privileged to lead us into the next exciting chapter as we continue to make a difference for our future.

🎄🎄Merry Christmas to all of our school family! 🎄🎄
It’s been a truly awesome week at Meadowside and we thank you for all your support and kind words.
We had a special Christmas assembly today, which ended with us singing and dancing along to Shakin’ Stevens… Merry Christmas Everyone!
It was also a sad occasion as we said goodbye to Miss Visaranta. Thank you for all you have done for the staff and children over the years.
Have an exciting (and restful in places!) fortnight and we’ll see you in the New Year 💙💚
