Welcome to Meadowside
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere where our school values are:
Aspirational, Environmental, Independence, Opportunistic, Understanding.
The school opened in September 2000 and we strive to develop a strong community ethos, reflecting on and refining our approach together.
Our school vision is: “Making a difference for our future” and we certainly believe we say farewell to children in year 6 with confidence they will go on to live this vision.
Through our curriculum design, our excellent pastoral care and our charity and community projects, we aim to give the children opportunities to flourish as ‘Meadowside Ambassadors‘! We have high expectations of all and are proud of our inclusive and innovative ethos.

A message from Miss Thomas.. I wanted to let you all know how truly grateful I am for all your kindness, generosity and brilliance! I have spent the weekend revisiting my final week at Meadowside and I am still completely lost for words and overwhelmed by all the love. I will treasure every card and message from the school family and look forward to reading them again and again, even though they will move me to tears every time. To know I have made a positive difference to so many lives is a wonderful feeling. It has been my privilege
And that’s a wrap!
Thank you to the year 6s for leading our assembly this morning. *Yew* were great! We wish you all the best for your next steps 💙💚
And HUGE love goes to our wonderful Miss Thomas who spent some time with every class yesterday and today and said some beautiful words in assembly this morning. It’s not goodbye, just see you soon as you are welcome back for all our big occasions and celebrations!
Have a lovely summer everyone and we will see you in September.854
